It's a real shame because YouTube is their core business, and they should put as much effort and expertise into making their videos as they do into their cars, and all the rest of their toys. Jan 24, 2023 · To add to the other answers, I suspect it's good for the channel branding/content to make him a "character", like how Cleetus McFarland is a character. It would make it a little more boring if they just called themselves Garrett and James, and having names like this lets them put it on merch to sell.
